Had their donuts this morning for an event. They were quite good. Just a suggestion, maybe put some extra effort in making sure people who aren't from Norwalk can easily find you from a Google search for donuts. We were to meet at "daylight donuts in Norwalk" but when we googled it to find the address there was almost nothing and the Facebook page didn't have the address. They only have a tiny sign in their window advertising their donuts, so if you aren't from Norwalk, you might not know it's there. We drove up and down Sunset Dr. Trying to find Daylight Donuts not knowing the real name of the restaurant.
The food was great. Small dine area but they have carry out which helps. I would definitely recommend this place to try, especially the chicken alfredo.
I give this place 5 stars for the food and 1 star for the atmosphere. I have no complaints about the food. other than the a.c. didn't work. I couldn't imagine working in there with no air cooking in the middle of the summer. I sure wouldn't work there.
Amazing food. Had the cheese sticks which were the size of a large burrito, and the Village sandwich was the best Italian sandwich I've ever had. Will go back!
Great food. They load up the toppings on pizza!
I freaking love Villagios. Great food, amazing atmosphere, and the owner will come out and have a chat with you.
Yummy! My favorite place to eat.
Smells like heaven on earth. Food was good. Comfortable seating. Friendly service.
This is such a small-town gem! The food is delicious and always brought out hot right to your table! My family and I always really enjoy eating there. It's also great for conversation and comfort food. I do wish the food would come a little quicker, but I know they're making everything to order with fresh ingredients, and the food is so good, it's definitely worth the wait!
Great food and service!
You can eat in or carry out. The food is excellent, but the young staff doesn't always get your order right or perhaps they give you someone else's order. The pizza with Graziano's sausage or the lasagna is what I normally order. The salad dressing is excellent and I believe it is their own brand. The single serve salad is just the right size. One has to measure the quality of any Italian restaurant by its red sauce. Their's is excellent. And just so you know, the 'table service' is not really table service in the traditional sense. There are tables, but you order at the counter and then seat yourself while your food is prepared. I do recommend this restaurant.
It is a small restaurants with same amazing pizza. I would highly recommend it. They also have sandwiches and other items on their menu. Great place. It was my first time there. I will go back.😊
Went for doughnuts. Very good. Friendly staff.
Real good pizza, staff should be friendlier
They offer a fantastic range of fresh food. I like dining here. The employees are always very kind, prices are convenient and the spot is always neat.
Best iltalian food I have had in a long time.
Ordered lasagna for 4. Got price 11 dollars n change. Got to car with it. Single serving. Said thats the price for one. Came with salad. Asked for french. Got thousand island. Not ever going back!
I certainly like their food and customer service, great area very close to my apartment. The employees are always very kind. Will come visit again.
Nice place for some pizza. Thin crust with lots of toppings. Good Sausage topping. Kids Menu is nice and under 6 eat free!! Second time there, go when in area.
I work right next to them so I may be biased, but I always see the parking lot fill up at night or for lunch. Popular local spot for great homemade Italian food. Tastes great, huge mozz sticks, amazing pizzas. Highly recommend trying these guys. They also employ high school students which is great because it helps them get some work experience early on and start making something for themselves. The owner is always there, even with a busy life. He's always helping his store and business. If you do order for a family for dinner, make sure to order about an hour before you want to eat, because they do get hit hard by lots of orders at once. Try them out!!
Amazing food every time we come!
Love the cavatelli night special on Thursdays!$7.50 for cavatelli salad and garlic bread!
Great food decent price.!
ordered r food and waited for our meals. they brought my sisters meatball and cheese bread and we ask about the lasagna & spaghetti dinners that were also ordered.. the kid said they were cooking. we watched 5 or 6 customers come in and order and leave with their food. I went up to talk to a sweet girl who looked for our food then came up & told us in was going in the oven . i expressed we were sitting there for 25 mins waiting and watching customers who ordered after us walking out with their food... now I can understand mistakes but i doubt I will go back for again. the owner nor the manager came out and asked how they could make this mishap better .. maybe a free dinner or maybe free bread . something for the mistake they made. The young girl did apologize again and she was very sincere. but forgetting 2 orders and making us wait i feel it should have been handle by the manager.
Perfect little home town highschool restaurant in Norwalk IA.
Tried it for the first time today and definitely will be back. The staff was attentive and answered all of my questions. The bread sticks are huge and homemade. I ordered the Alfredo pasta and villagio grinder. Very satisfied with my food.
We had pizza, calzone, and bread sticks! They were all very good! This small restaurant in Norwalk was really good!! The family was very friendly and we loved the food! The calzone was not as good as the pizza. It was? little too much bread for me, but the meats and sauce was delicious!Good, family run restaurant! It was worth the drive!
Always the best in service and value
Villaggio has delicious homemade Italian dishes served in a family friendly and delightful restaurant! They have a great customer service! They also serve a variety of tasty daylight donuts in the morning! Dining at Villaggio is a wonderful experience!
Excellent home town pizza and pasta.
Haven't been here in years and decided to get a pizza to take home. Got the "Hot Italian" and it is definitely HOT and I love spicy food. No crushed red pepper needed for this pizza.
We were in there alone at 3 pm on a Saturday. Great service and really good, reasonably priced food.
Donuts and coffee in. We took several home with us and they are delicious. We also had their Pizza and it is also great!
Great pizza, but pricey. On the other hand, they now serve Daylight Donuts in the mornings. They are the bees knees.
Best pizza and sandwiches around. Can't wait to try the donuts
Their sandwiches are very good. The prices keeps going up and the portions are gettting smaller. Salad and dressing great.
I like the thin crust pizza with chunks os sausage and mushrooms. Hubby had cavetilli was pkeased had nice amount of sauce. We did take out.
Good pizza, especially the chicken Alfredo. Fast carry out, very friendly. Kind of spendy, but you get what you pay for?
Super long wait. But great pizza!
This place definitely has some great food! I love their pizza I would give the 5th star but it’s a bit pricey.
my husband loves this place. im glad they are now serving Daylight donuts.
Excellent food.... call ahead or be ok with a good wait for food.
Don't let the look of this place stop you from going in. It may not look Italian, but the food that comes out of the kitchen is classic American Italian. My wife had the pizza and I had Stromboli sandwich. We both thought tomato sauce made the whole meal. It is a very clean tomato flavor that let's the flavors of the meat and vegetables come through. The pizza was a thin crust and the sandwich came on a nice Italian roll, crunchy on the outside soft inside. Very tasty meal.
Great food and donuts reasonably priced. Great friendly service.
The pizza here is really good! A perfect balance of crust, cheese, toppings and sauce. My favorite bit is probably the pizza sauce as they put the perfect amount and it’s really good! Definitely recommend eating here!
Good food. Nice staff. Italian beef sandwich and pizza are favorites.
this place is legendary! the quility of the food is great so much flavor. great family buissness with good people this place realy is all american. everthing is made fresh and fast. its rare when you know you are paying way to littel for the quility of the food you are getting. you wont be dispointed in this place.
Amazing meat sauce.. bread sticks tasted homemade .. yummy little hole in the wall
We took friends from Texas with us and we all enjoyed our entire meal. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We eat here frequently. I love the pizza. Fresh crust and lots of cheese. Villagio special is my favorite. Family loves the pasta, especially the cavatelli, the sandwiches, some are really spicy, and the panzerrati. We have not had anything here we didn't love. We will definitely be dining here again.
My son's favorite Italian restaurant.
